A Joyous June Wedding: Celebrating Bailee & Brian

On a warm June day in 2021, some of my family and friends gathered at a beautiful club in Maple Grove, MN, to celebrate the wedding of Bailee and Brian. This was a very special couple, as Bailee is my cousin and god-daughter. I have had the honor to watch her grow into an accomplished woman through the years. I have watched her dream of finding a husband and creating a family of her own come true. It was truly my honor to be a small part of her wedding day and bear witness to the beginning of their journey!

A Ceremony Rooted in Faith and Love

The unusual summer heat in early June that year encouraged us to move the ceremony indoors. Bailee & Brian’s ceremony was a beautiful blend of faith, love, and meaningful traditions. They chose two scripture readings—Colossians 3:12-17 and 1 John 4:7-12—which spoke to the love, kindness, and devotion they share. One of the most special moments was the blessing of their rings, using water from three sacred places: St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, St. Anthony Catholic Church, and Green Lake. This touching ritual symbolized the unity of their spiritual lives and the deep roots of their faith.

Bailee & Brian’s marriage was also blessed with a heartfelt prayer that incorporated their hopes for the future alongside the Prayer of the Faithful from the Catholic tradition. It was a moving moment that reflected their shared values and commitment to building a life filled with love, faith, and family.

Cherished Traditions and Shared Joys

Bailee & Brian share a love for the Christmas season and the simple joys of a warm cup of coffee—little details that speak to their warmth and appreciation for life’s beautiful moments. Their wedding day was just the beginning of their wonderful adventure, and today, they are proud parents of two beautiful children. Their love story continues to grow, filled with the same joy and devotion that surrounded them on their wedding day.
