An Unforgettable Love Story
What made their ceremony especially meaningful was the way their love story was shared — a story full of both ordinary and extraordinary moments that built the foundation of their relationship. One of their favorite memories goes back to just three months into dating, when they traveled to Montreal for Andy’s birthday weekend — also his first trip outside of the U.S. The trip was full of special experiences, but the moment that stood out most wasn’t glamorous at all. Anna became sick in their Uber on the way to the airport, and she worried Andy might run for the hills. Instead, he calmly stepped in, handled everything, and made her feel completely safe. It was in that moment Anna knew she had found someone she could build a life with — someone who would always take care of her.
A First Date That Almost Wasn’t
Their first date, on the other hand, was not the picture-perfect beginning most might imagine. They were seated in a noisy restaurant corner, awkwardly placed by unused high chairs and a revolving door. Instead of letting the night be a bust, Anna decided to change the setting. They ordered dessert to-go and walked back to her place, where they sat on the balcony eating sweets. That simple shift changed everything. It was a great reminder that in all relationships, sometimes a different setting can shift the dynamics of a discussion or time spent together.

From that awkward first date to a French-inspired proposal with champagne to a love of art, their story has been full of moments big and small — and both kinds are equally important.
